I spent 4 years shooting, developing, and printing in my high school darkroom many moons ago, and I just never stopped loving the process. Those basic principals carried me into the past decade filled with hundreds of weddings, engagements, and commercial shoots. I’m confident that I have the equipment and experience necessary to handle any situation, but truth be told I really enjoy improvising and collaborating among the unknown unknowns.

Plain and simple, we will be working together to make the photographs you want. And often times, that includes more than the photography itself. Regardless of effort, you can expect a professional, yet authentic relationship, creative conversation, and genuine passion.

Outside of commissioned work, I’m genuinely interested in photography as an art form. Taking influence from the masters to these young kids on Youtube, I’m authentically interested and invested in what can be made within these little boxes.

I’m not on social media. And I don’t do any video work. I’m afraid those hamsters wheels would keep me from what’s really important. It’s sorta like that one Ramen documentary - where the chef/owner only concentrates on making one dish, making iterative improvements, and simply putting all of his time & effort into a single product. I think that’s a good mantra.
